Brickwork and Masonry Repairs
One of the most common causes of masonry damage is water ingress in masonry walls. When water enters a masonry wall it takes long periods of time to dry, due to the lack of direct sunlight.
During the cold winter months, water that gets into a masonry walls can sometimes freeze and expand. This can cause brick faces to fall off, mortar joints to crack, or chimney columns to crack. Repairs to these are a lot simpler when they are first noticed, as the longer the issue goes on the worse a water leak can get.
Structural issues can also cause varying degrees of masonry damage. Common structural issues include incorrectly sized lintels, or unsupported masonry arches over windows and garage doors.
We have years of experience with masonry repair work, including:
- Chimney repairs
- Masonry demolition and removal
- Structural issues
- Replacement of lintels
- Historical Renovations
- Brick repairs
- Foundation Repairs
